Throughout my life, I've been working 70 hour weeks since I've been twelve and have worked at places from farms and construction to retail and waiting tables, but am currently working towards my goal of graduation with a mechanical engineering degree.
During my time at Red Mesa, I have learned how to better sharpen my skills as a server while working at a high-paced environment during the National Cherry Festival, while ensuring to give guests the best tourist experience possible. This is also my Summer job while I'm away from college for break.
At North Country, I started as a server. But as time went on, the restaurant needed extra hands in the kitchen, so I volunteered to learn the back of house as well. Throughout this, I got a better grasp at how the restaurant ran as a whole, helped me become a better leader on both sides of the restaurant, along with giving more in depth descriptions of meals to customers to ensure they get the most out of their experience.
During my Summers away from high school, I worked at Northern Sprinkler Systems and installed premium irrigation systems with an eye to precision and detail. We worked seventy-hour weeks which taught me how to work hard towards my goal and the value of hard work.
