Hobbies & Interests
- I enjoy Snowboarding, cooking, pets, camping, and exploring local restaurants. MAny years in a National Park inspired a strong interest in organic and sustainable practices, recycling,and environmentally friendly activities. Eat local.
- I have not been to the Bio-Park but I have been to lots of other Zoos like the Fresno Chaffee Zoo... I went there a lot with my Grandmother when i was a child, The Monterey Bay Aquarium and the Boise Zoo, I have also been to Sonoran Desert Museum that we are members of the Sonoran Desert Museum.
- I'm Fascinated with the Reptile's and Raptor's programs and the javelina's. I frequently donate pet food to the local animal shelter. I also work with the local spay and neuter organization's for feral cats.
-I want to protect all wild animals and their habitats for future generations, I'm also concerned about all the big cats in general, I'm very concerned about the Rainforest habitats and the rate of destruction, and I'm also concerned about the Arctic habitat as well
I was honored to work with an extraordinary team at the El Tovar Hotel's premier fine dining restaurant. The Hotel is one of the Historic Grand Lodges of the National Parks known for it's old-world charm with a casual but elegant work atmosphere founded on the principles of excellent customer service. I performed all the duties of busser including setting up my section, making sure all the tables are set up properly, arranging chairs to fit group size, taking beverage orders, pouring wine,and many additional tasks.
- Server assistant tasks included clearing, cleaning, and setting tables in a timely manner, getting drinks, welcoming guests conversations about the Hotel and their Grand Canyon visit, and supported the Servers in any way they needed.

The Sandbar is a Boise destination casual outdoor dining experience known for locally sourced food and beer as well as for it's comfortable atmosphere and eclectic live music on the beautiful Boise River and Greenbelt outdoor path. After so many years in fine dining, I found the relaxed setting appealing with expectation that we will time to talk to the customers, to help them feel welcome, and even give their dogs special pet treats made in-house.
-Barback tasks included stocking the coolers, getting ice,setting up the bar specific for each bartender, moving/ setting up kegs, securing inventory after closing, and assisting the bartenders in any way needed including helping make mixed drinks, creating signature sangrias, and delivering drinks to the tables.
-Food Runner Tasks include getting all the food to the tables in an efficient manner, bringing anything additional guests may need, clear and clean the tables when guests leave.
-Additional duties include all the previous listed tasks for The Riverside's indoor restaurant's, The Sapphire Room/ Bar365, as well as performing all the duties as a room service waiter when needed.
I worked full time as a Snowboard Instructor for the last 3 winter seasons. I taught both skiing and snowboarding, adults and kid, in any and all conditions. i really enjoy helping Bogus Basin guests safely enjoy the mountain experience and gain confidence in themselves, hopefully becoming life-long snowsports enthusiasts. i Earned my PSIA Childre's Level 1 pin last winter and continue to train for and energetically pursue my leve 2 Snowboard Certification.
I taught skiing and snowboarding in Yosemite National Park's historic ski area Badger Pass for 14 seasons. I am very passionate about being able to help park guests of all ages to safely enjoy outdoor sports in an amazing place. I am PSIA and AASI certified Level 1. Teaching snowsports is 100%customer service in which I draw on expertise in equipment design, how people learn, effective communication skills, organizing and directing groups, time management, and special needs to provide a memorable and safe experience.
