• Achieved a consistent Medical Record Delinquency Rate of under 2.5% for the organization with accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborated and actively participated in-person and remotely in Ponca City and Woodward's Epic go-live.
• Worked alongside Coding and IT to create coding/deficiency work queues in Epic to reduce coding and billing holds due to missing and/or incomplete provider documentation.
• Actively trained clinical caregivers in-person and remotely on Hyland OnBase functions such as Express Scanning. Different clinical areas trained include Ponca City, Woodward, Canadian Valley, Lakeside Radiology, Patient Logistics, and various other smaller departments. Training these functions at hospitals as a whole allowed for HIM to remove it's physical presence at the location.
• Took over the physician billing administrative closure process for the organization, allowing for more complete and compliant coding and billing.
• Managed a previous Tier 2 team based on previous Engagement Survey results prior to management role. Tier 1 has been achieved each survey session since then.
