Hello I would like to introduce myself,

My name is Chassidy Price and I have a passion for working with children. I am currently studying at Dallas Community College to get my degree in Child Development. I have always had a passion for working with kids. I have a younger sister who is 3-years-old who was diagnosed with autism when she turned 2.Although I do not have any professional experience with children, I do have life experience. I am currently 19 years old but my sister was born when I was 15. My mom worked a lot and my dad was bed ridden from having surgery.Since they were both unable to care for my sister my parents allowed me to babysit my little sister. I was able to teach her new things despite her being autistic. My parents were told she was going to be non-verbal but the more I babysat her I was able to get her to talk and use her words.
