During my stay at speedway, I really developed myself as a person. I had many responsibilities. I ran two teams at my location one inside of the store, The second was the car wash. The largest task I feel I spent majority of my time was the inventory. Not only did I had to order many products to run a large gas station, but I also had to have a secondary order of car wash supplies. That can be very intricate for every section of the store. There are many details, straws, lids, creamers sugars, next side of the store condiments, next food supplies in the refrigerators from meats, buns, taquitos, burritos, vegetation ect. With keeping up with new advertisements.
The coolers had to be checked, and every section had a different vendor to contact for individual needs. The shelves in between also had different vendors of Frito, bimbo, ect. All different orders.
The cigarette orders daily, alcohol and kava substances took separate recognition. The outside of the car wash also had more ordering of quarters for the machines, soaps and more intricate details like air scent fresheners, streak free cleaners, the wax and shine products and so forth.
I also had two assistance under me that were trained 6 weeks for detail to inventory, it was a very serious part of our position at the gas station for many products.
