I have worked as security at Deer Crest Estates and am capable of being vigilant and calm under pressure.

I graduated early from Summit High school.

Although, my background was a major obstacle, I wanted to learn and build relationships with my peers and teachers.

I have always enjoyed learning new information, and I seek consistent stimulation and knowledge. School was extremely important to me and I was able to achieve something I never thought I could. Not only did I graduate early, but I graduated at the top of my class and was given the privilege of speaking at my graduation. 

Afterwards, I had a woman approach me, crying, and congratulating me on my graduation, as well as the depth of my speech. She mentioned that it resonated with her and at that moment, I realized how powerful words can be. 

I felt good knowing that I had made someone else felt seen. My small success led to me be able to positively influence someone, even if it was just one person. 

I accepted who I was, where I came from and saw who I could be. And through my success, I want to be an example to people that stand where I once stood. 

I left school with an amazing relationship with my teachers. They made it possible for me to have the privilege of graduation. 

"It was just a graduation speech, get over it."

That speech heavily impacted my life and is one of my most cherished moments and accomplishments.
