I am a student pilot, I started flying at the Virginia Highlands airport, and have most of my hours from the Virginia Tech airport. I worked at restaurants after graduating high school a year early to pay for 50 hours of logged flight time by myself at the age of 17. I am moving down to Florida to finish my private pilot's license, and get all my ratings with a goal of becoming a commercial pilot. I unfortunately had a flight instructor who was not following FAA regulations and is now in trouble with the FAA. He did not progress me, milked me out of my money, and did this to other student pilots. Being a student pilot who worked over 60 hours a week at a young age to pay for flight lessons taught me so much about dedication, and perseverance. Despite having an incompetent, and unprofessional CFI, I have still decided to persue my dream of being a professional pilot out of my passion for flying.
