Principal's Award 2022:

• An honors award for outstanding academic performance throughout junior high school received in 9th grade.

Mayor's Cup for Relay Swimming 2023:

• Placed 1st in the swimming relay competition. Participated as a representation for Taipei Fuhsing Private School.

Certificate of Completion for English Teaching Volunteer Service Program for Overseas Youth 2024: 

• Successfully completed 80 hours of English teaching at the Affiliated Experimental Elementary School of University of Taipei.

President's Volunteer Service Award 2024: 

• Completed 210.25 service and learning hours with Formosa Association of Student Cultural Ambassadors, obtaining the silver level PVSA.

Certificate of Completion for University of London, Global Diplomacy-Diplomacy in the Modern World 2024: 

• Understanding the meaning of diplomacy while assessing factors such as proper communication and negotiations that characterize successful diplomacy on Coursera.

Alice Chen Deputy Major Campaign: 4/2024 - 5/2024

• Interned for Deputy Mayor Alice Chen during in her reelection campaign by engaging with the citizens of Stafford City, Texas and promoting her past accomplishments
• Responsibilities also included handing flyers out to different households

Film Club: 09/2022 - 6/2023

• Learned of the different techniques that are involved in the film industry, including the camera angle, the merging of different scenes, and script writing
• Made small and big film projects to put our skills into practice
• Participated in the club once every week of the school year

Psychology Club: 09/2022 - 06/2023

• Gained knowledge about the field of psychology through creative and fun games
• Listened to presentations held by professional psychologists and therapists to understand their work and learn how the human brain functions from a mental perspective

Cycling Around Taiwan: 11/28/2022 - 12/9/2022

• Completed the cycling of 860 kilometers around Taiwan in 12 days
• Received intense training to improve biking skills
• Explored and discovered the new sides of Taiwan and its culture
• A test of perseverance, stamina, physical strength

Formosa Association of Student Cultural Ambassadors (FASCA): 07/21/2023 - Present

• Completed courses at the FASCA 2023 Leadership Conference to enhance communication and leadership skills
• Formosa Association of Student Cultural Ambassadors
• Aims to educate overseas Taiwanese teens about their culture and to promote this knowledge to the American public
• Participating in cultural events to help with teaching and sharing the Taiwanese perspective with children and adults
• Volunteered at several other local communities, including the Fort Bend Food Bank

Researching Stafford City: 5/2024 - 9/2024

• Worked closely with Deputy Mayor Alice Chen of Stafford City in creating a research paper on the methods cities used to gain public approval of tax increases
• Searched for methods, such as holding public meetings, to measure community appeal on reintroducing property taxes by comparing tax policies of cities around the U.S.

Piano: 2015 - Present

• Officially learned for 5 years, but had to stop due to my move from Australia back to Taiwan
• Continued playing and self-learning as a hobby
• Played for the elderly and disabled at the Winter Break Volunteering Program In Hualian during 10th grade

Crochet: 2019 - Present

• Was in the crochet club during grade 7, and continued the activity as a hobby
• Started an online crochet business during 11th grade
• Donated the revenue to Stafford City for education purposes

Swimming: 2015 - Present

• Received official swimming lessons for 4 years
• Picked swimming back up during 10th grade in preparation for the Mayor's Cup for Relay Swimming 2023
