Caregiver
- The daycare was closed down during the pandemic.
I worked as a caregiver at a daycare for 6 months. I had to leave the job due to the daycare shutting down due to the pandemic. After I lost my job, I applied to Columbus Technical College and started doing prerequisites, which lead me into wanting to pursue the medical field because I got into EMS and loved every bit of it, to patient care, critical thinking, cleaning the ambulance, to moving/picking up the stretcher, to calling on the radio, and to meeting new people every day! My brother started me out doing an EMR class with him as well, which also made me love the field more. Along the way I have gained a lot of medical experience/knowledge. I will be applying for my schools Nurse Aid program and starting out with a fast track certificate! I find pediatrics an intriguing job I'm looking to apply for because I've always loved working with kids and helping them improve themselves both mentally & physically and in the future I'm aiming to become a LPN/RN Pediatric Nurse!
