
Throughout my junior and senior year of high school, I juggled both television and theater. I am the General Manager of my high school award winning television station, while also stage managing both productions that the Poplar Pike Playhouse puts on each fall and spring my senior year. I also have great experience in Sound Engineering from my junior year, which has given me great skills such as, leadership, communication, creativity, and problem solving tactics.
- In charge of making sure everyone in the studio is working up to par with supervisors orders.
- In charge of powering up and shutting down studio.

- Learned all aspects of technical theater so I could better lead crew
- Communicated when to move certain set pieces and props backstage
- Gave cues to sound and light engineers
- Assisted the director with any needs
- Taped down where set pieces went
- Wrote stage directions for actors
- Helped actors learn lines when needed
- Was the lead of the overall crew and made sure the show ran smoothly every night.
- I was in charge of controlling the sound system at the Poplar Pike Playhouse my junior year.
- Created and ran sound effects during the fall play “The Nerd”
- Created sound effects, ran effects, and played music for spring musical “In The Heights”
- Was also tasked with putting mics on cast, and collecting them once show was over.
