• Mercy Health South West (07/2022 - 07/2022) 3 week internship to experience different out-patient pharmacy settings. I integrated myself in the workflow to identify strengths and weakness and provided possible solutions. I shadowed a clinical pharmacist and sat in on patient counseling calls.
• Cedar Springs Pharmacy (01/2023 - 02/2023) 3 week internship at an independent pharmacy. I got to learn about how an independent pharmacy is run and the challenges that come with being an independent pharmacy vs a chain. I made MTM calls and sat in on in-person patient counseling.
• D & W Pharmacy (10/2023 - 12/2023) 6 week internship at the chain D & W pharmacy. I lead reach out initiatives to increase awareness of new medications and held a diabetic clinic in store. I personally lead patient counseling and complete medication reviews along with vaccinations.
• Bronson Medical Center (11/2024 - 12/2025) 6 week internship at Bronson Hospital. I was responsible for the medications of 2 to 8 patients a day. I worked with the teaching service team and was integral in the medical health of our patients.
• University of Michigan Health -West (01/2025 - 02/2025) 6 week internship at UoMHW in the pharmacy department. I worked with the teaching service, ICU and antibiotic stewardship teams. I helped guide the hospital care of patients on my service.
