Working in two very different atmospheres has allowed me to build certain traits that have made me the person I am today. Working in the fast food industry for more than two years has equipped me with a variety of approaches to assist the diverse groups of people I encounter on a daily basis. I have learned to multitask and solve issues that nothing could have prepared me for. Most importantly, I have learned to grow as a dependable person who never fails to show up on time and work the hardest I can. When I started Valvoline, I had no experience with cars or tools; therefore, it was a very rough start. However, after much practice and hard work, I pushed myself and taught myself the principles of changing oil and the many other services we offer. These jobs not only taught me the importance of cooperation and collaboration with my coworkers and customers but also the importance of critical thinking and kindness.
