I started with Ontrack as support staff working with Fathers at the dads program in Medford. During this time I was able to gain my peer support certification through Ontrack and implement these skills to help support the men in the house. Each day I stayed committed to the clients that we serve and had the opportunity to become a CIT (counselor in training with ontrack). Ontrack provided the education and opportunity for me the learn and grow into this profession. With hard work and continued commitment, I was able to gain my certification as a CADC 1 with the company. During my time as a CADC with Ontrack I have work at the home program (moms), Dads program, outpatient and with mountain view recovery center a 16 bed Co-ed facility where I was the assistant program manager and lead counselor.
Currently I work for Adapt intergraded Health Care as the Addiction Recovery Team counselor contracted with ODHS (child welfare). In this position I am able to help provide recovery/treatment supports and connect individuals with housing, SUD treatment, Mental Health supports and help assist removing barriers that may impede individuals ability to engage in said services. During my time in the ART position and with Adapt I have been able to obtain my CADC 2, CRM 2, and QMHA 1 certification.
Oversaw staff schedules and assignments to handle programming demands.
