  • Ensure that Teachers, Staff, and Administrators are aware of and implementing Federal, State, and CCSD mandates and procedures regarding Special Education Practices
  • Identify areas of improvement and implement solutions that have included IEP development, student-centered and data-driven instructional practices, schedule creation, data collection, and interpretation practices for the support of students, in addition to any supports requiring attention, as concerns arise.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintaining accurate and complete records as well as ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Collaboratively work with staff inside and outside the school building to ensure FAPE and LRE for all students.
  • Support students and individuals as a liaison between participants, families, and staff while facilitating a positive environment.
  • Train CCSD staff as current CPI Trainer, have been Best Practices IEP Trainer, CORE Trainer, and Mentee to multiple new SEIFs since Fall of 2005.
  • Demonstrate flexibility towards student, staff, and building needs.
