CHILDREN AGES: INFANT- 3 YRS, 3-5 YRS 40 HOURS/WEEK

Directly oversee the PFCE and ERSEA component of the program. Ensure that full enrollment of eligible children is met as well as ensure vacancies are filled as needed. Coordinate training to ensure that requirements are met, and staff are fully trained in the agency. Maintain child applications to ensure accuracy and income is calculated correctly. Directly supervise Family Service staff in our 10-county service area. Work closely with school districts and community partners within the area we serve.

Overseen day to day operations in Bath County to ensure that the program ran smoothly. Assisted with time management schedules as well as assisted in the classroom giving breaks as needed. Ensured that all health as well as education requirements were met. Completed enrollment applications, maintained personnel records, conducted parent meetings, ensured monthly reports were accurate, completed CACFP monitoring, requested materials and approved time for staff.

Ensured that full enrollment was met at each Head Start center that I worked in. Met with families to complete the required paperwork as well as completed home visits. Completed child attendance daily to ensure that children were present and getting the most out of the program. Assisted with giving breaks in the classroom when needed. Completed Dial-4 screenings as well as hearing and vision screenings on children that needed them. Conducted parent meetings with families and attending community events in order to build a positive relationship with our community partners. Assisted families with any resource that was needed either internally or by referral to outside agency.
