As the Director of Operations, I oversee the critical operational functions of solar installations, ensuring seamless project transitions from planning to completion while consistently meeting company performance standards. I built operations from the ground up, optimizing and managing key processes, including project management, HOA compliance, installation scheduling, on-site labor management, safety oversight, subcontractor management, inventory and asset management, material and equipment procurement, main panel and roof upgrades, quality control, final inspection, utility interconnections, vendor relations.

I led the implementation of a CRM system to enhance operational efficiency, assist with customer communication, and streamline project tracking. This initiative played a significant role in improving overall project management and customer satisfaction. My role also involved providing strategic vision and operational leadership, aligning team efforts with organizational goals and industry best practices to ensure project excellence and continuous improvement. As the Director of Electrical Service Change/Scheduling Operations, I successfully led and managed four divisions, overseeing a dedicated team of 40 employees with 5 direct reports. By prioritizing strong relationships with building departments and utilities, I ensured the timely completion of projects. Through process improvements and proactive data analysis, I significantly increased productivity and efficiency. To effectively track operations, I created detailed reports covering productivity, project management, workload, and budgeting. By establishing best practices for staff scheduling, I fostered compliance and streamlined communication within my down-line team. Collaborating with IT developers, I also customized a Scheduling System and field installation application tailored to our specific needs.

I closely monitored budgets and provided ongoing feedback to my down-line team,managing contracts, equipment, and materials within budgetary constraints. A notable accomplishment was leading the development of a new scheduling software platform,resulting in an impressive 60% improvement in productivity. I also collaborated with departmental leaders to set organizational goals and objectives, successfully managing both internal and external projects. In addition, I worked closely with sales channels and ownership to improve forecast accuracy, reducing the sale of outdated products and addressing customer backlogs caused by product availability.
