For the 2024-2025 school year my position was school liaison. This position's duties were to create a positive working relationship between the school administration, teachers and staff members and the PTO. Throughout my time in this position I assisted the librarian with the book fair, helped the school counselor with career day as well as worked alongside the principal in coordinating events and building a healthy working relationship.
For the 2025-2026 school year my new position is Vice President. This position entails working with all the other PTO members to assist in creating events that support the school community as well as continuing to work alongside the school staff members to continue to provide support where needed.
Lucas is 5 years old with autism. While I have been a stay at home mom, I have coordinated and worked alongside his doctors, therapists and teachers to best teach, understand and support my special needs son. I have been dedicated to learning how to not only recognize but meet his needs in a team effort with his service providers.
