Christina Walton

Recently certified coder through the AAPC. Has worked in fast paced environment for almost 2 years in the medical field. During my time at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist I have worked in the spine department and was then offered a job in orthopedics and podiatry. In less then a year of being in orthopedics and podiatry I was promoted to a senior patient coordinator. I have worked along side of clinic staff and patients alike helping with scheduling, referrals, incoming faxes and any patient needs. I am excited for the new opportunities that await me with my CPC certification.

Hospice of Davidson County

During my time volunteering for Hospice I would visit patients and their families and help with events put on by Hospice. Hospice does require training to become a volunteer as well as yearly training to renew.
