During my more than 10 years of volunteering at ACC, I have helped in the process of donating and distributing food to the needy. I have loaded cars, sorted donations, taken orders, and done my best to help those less fortunate. It has been one of the best experiences of my life.

As a seasonal Passenger Service Assistant at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, I had a number of responsibilities. It was up to me and our team to ensure that disabled and handicapped passengers made it to their flight on time, in a comfortable and safe manner. In this position I learned many great interpersonal and customer service skills. I certainly value this experience looking back.

As a library student aide at Forrestwood MS, l learned many valuable working skills. I learned good people and customer service skills being the face at the front desk, and learned how to be a good problem solver. I also helped organize and manage community and school events at the Library, keeping attendees comfortable and things running smoothly. I was also taught how to use their professional computer system.
