As a 1/C lead carpenter is too teach and mentor the up and coming semi skilled ship building carpenters. To show them and teach them how to use the tools that will be required such as power tools ( skill saws, air tools, planers etc ). To teach carpenters how to manage there time in a way to be more productive with there new taught skills. Advise them on how to stay as safe as possible in there new surroundings. Also show how to make accurate measurements and cutting techniques to cut material waste. And have a mind set of high quality craftsmanship at every aspect of the jobs.
