Summary

Born and rasied in Macon Ga by my grandmother after my mothers passing; second oldest out of 4 boys. Didn't have much growing up, school was even rough. Chris wasn't the coolest kid, more laid back.

My attention span wasn't all that great either, but once I graduated school I found myself taking a liking to people. So I took a job working at Old Navy where I literally thrived. Top seller in credit cards, great customer service skills, creative merchandising and the list goes on; literally thrived in learning more about clothes, people, sales, MYSELF. Within those 6 years of working for Old Navy I knew I wanted to do more; take my life to a different level. I was always a creative person and wild thinker as a child so in 2018...I leaped!

Here we are at Geico, taking that leap that I never thought I'd actually land on my feet with, but I did. Since 2018 of working Geico I've had the thrill in working with some amazing people, listening to and helping some amazing consumers. I can't say it was easy but I can't say it was hard either. I've been in Sales, roadside assistance and now claims; at this point I now know how insurance works and more about myself as an individual.

I'd like to think of myself as a very creative individual, always coming up with new ideas, out the box thinking. I do believe in going after what I want and believing in that thing 100%, never giving up. Confidence and presentation is key.

-Advising deductibles to policyholders when explaining their filing options.

-Maintaining good metrics across the board when it came to the quality of the phone call and the duration of the phone call.

- Calling out to claimants to verify info to proceed with payouts on claims.

-Making payments to body shops, claimants, policyholder (advancing deductibles when policy holder found not at fault), lienhoders, adverse carriers, etc.

-Working unresolved claims when it comes to making a liability decision, such as reviewing police reports, damages to both claimant and policy holders vehicles, getting recorded statements from all involved parties.

- Working flex task. Flex task are reminders of what's needed to bringing the claim to a close.

-Sending correspondence to attorneys when claimants or policyholders are represented.

-Sending out letters.

-Setting up accident tows.

- A duty to show empathy and reassurance customers that you’re going to do your job in making sure the process is easy or seem-less.

-A responsibility to show up on time.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

-Maintaining above a 97% in working Navigator

-Maintaining above what's required for surveys.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Setting up breakdown tows and accident tows, battery changes/jumps, tires changes, gas deliveries.

-Scheduling glass appointments.

-Advising coverage and deductibles to policyholders.

-Calling out to tow facilities to release vehicles.

-Active listening and giving out outstanding customer service.

-Locating policyholders using customers description and Geico locater app.

-Maintaining good metrics across the board when it came to the quality of the phone call and the duration of the phone call.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

-Was awarded certificates multiple times for being a 5 with surveys in ERS department.

-Was awarded most improved.
