My team and I managed the accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of a high-volume inventory of automotive parts, supporting a regional network of NAPA Auto Parts locations across Northern Nevada. Each day we executed order fulfillment for both retail storefronts and B2B commercial accounts, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to locations in Reno, Fernley, Fallon, and the greater Northern Nevada area. We conducted regular cycle counts and maintained strict inventory tracking protocols, minimizing discrepancies and ensuring optimal stock levels for the region. Operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently was a daily task, and we used pallet jacks and forklifts to load, unload, and stage daily freight shipments from manufacturers and primary distribution centers.

As a Brand Ambassador, I represent Renewal by Andersen at events, trade shows, and retail locations to connect with potential customers and introduce them to our window and door replacement services. My main focus is starting conversations, building rapport, and identifying people who might be interested in a free consultation. I explain the value of our products in a clear, approachable way and answer basic questions about the process. This role has strengthened my communication skills, taught me how to engage with a wide variety of people, and helped me become more confident in generating leads and promoting a brand in a professional but friendly manner.

At Cabela’s, I worked as a Hunting Outfitter helping customers find the right gear for their hunting trips. I talked with people every day about firearms, optics, ammo, knives, and outdoor equipment, making sure they got what they needed based on their experience and what they were planning to hunt. I stayed up to date on the latest products and local hunting regulations so I could give solid, informed advice. I also helped with restocking, organizing the sales floor, and making sure all firearm sales followed legal procedures. This job really combined my interest in the outdoors with customer service, and I enjoyed making sure every customer left feeling confident and ready for their next hunt. Additionally, I learned the ins and outs of NV state NICS forms and fastbound software in order to ensure the filling out of background checks in a compliant manner.
