My academic and professional experiences have shaped my interest in understanding people and advocating for those who need support. During my two years at John Jay College, I developed a strong interest in psychology and how human behavior, experience, and circumstance shape decision-making. Working as an EMT has deepened this interest, teaching me how to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and respond with empathy in difficult situations. I plan to continue my undergraduate studies in psychology while building on these experiences, working toward my long-term goal of becoming a lawyer. By combining my understanding of people with strong critical-thinking, communication, and advocacy skills, I hope to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
