I am looking for a permanent career and have many experiences both with customer service and administrative work! With over 10 years of customer service, 5 years of Barista and 3 years in administrative experiences, I am also a fast learner, very reliable, always willing to do more when/where needed, enjoy busy work environments, and am loyal to the places I have worked for!
I cared for three ongoing clients, helping them with all ADLs, cooking, cleaning, medicine reminders, and providing fun activities to do each day. I really enjoyed my time as a caregiver, and I grew very close with all of my clients during the short time I cared for them.
I was the barista, cook, and cashier for the bistro. I made several different kinds of fresh salads every morning, and made special snacks such as fruit cups, veggie trays, and protein packs for the residents in the retirement home. I made coffee drinks and prepared food for several catered events that happen weekly. We served breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and I was responsible for cooking what was on our weekly menu each day.
I was a full-time opener, setting up the pastry case to Starbucks standards each morning, stocking, and making sure the tills were counted correctly from the night before. I learned how to make a variety of different coffee drinks, food prepped, and cleaned/sanitized all work areas. I worked as the cashier as well, multitasking in all areas (mobile orders, call-in orders, etc.). This Starbucks was very busy all day long!
In payroll, I was in charge of the sales team, and I paid them weekly. I processed over 300 employees, ensuring accuracy of pay and deductions. I had to maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations regarding wages and hours. I generated reports detailing hours worked by the department, location, and employee type.
As a shift manager at Ivar's, I was the cashier, cook, closer, and breader. I ensured the completion of all opening and closing duties, and kept things organized and clean in my work stations. I also helped train new employees.
