Responsible for providing a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider (APP), or registered nurse in accordance with established guidelines and standards.

• Place patients in exam room and prepare patients for indicated exam.
• Review charts the day prior to patient visit to ensure all test results and needed information for patient visit is available.Update Patient histories including past medical history, past social history, past surgical history, medication history and allergies.

• Draw blood and prepare specimens to be sent to outside reference labs. Perform urinalysis,C & S to be sent to lab.

• Perform IM injections. Assist with office procedures as directed by physicians including bladder scan, flow rate, bladder catheterization.

• Perform patient tasks as order by physician including scheduling diagnostic tests, obtaining outside records and scheduling appointments.

• Make sure exam rooms are clean, adequately stocked and ready for clinic visits. Assist with miscellaneous tasks.

• Performed back-office duties, answering multi-phone line system, handling incoming and outgoing faxes/referral/various paperwork, triage, performing vital signs, EKGs, venipuncture, injections.
• Float through all ambulatory clinics triaging (pediatric, OB/GYN, ENT/pulmonary, family medicine, pain clinic, multi specialty clinic, orthopedics)
• I have previous experience in the Covid clinic.
• Eye clinic running flow and scheduling, assisting with eye injections being available for consent and witnesses.
• Pick up extra shifts on various floors (IOU, ED, Trauma 6J)

• Obtaining and documenting proper patient information such as medical and physical history into EMR, record vitals, aid the physician or nursing staff during treatment and examination, execute physician's requests to patient care such as telephone messages to refilling/prepping prescriptions, setting up appointments, obtaining medical history from other providers.

• Performed front and back-office duties, checking in and out patients, answering multi-phone line system, handling incoming and outgoing faxes/referrals/various paperwork requests, triage, performing vital signs, EKG, venipunctures.
