
Certified Medical Assistant with 17 years of phlebotomy skills that is an organized, goal-oriented, team player seeking a position in an established medical office supporting physicians, advanced practitioners, nurses, and other medical staff to facilitate extraordinary patient care.
Responsible for providing a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider (APP), or registered nurse in accordance with established guidelines and standards.
• Draw blood and prepare specimens to be sent to outside reference labs. Perform urinalysis,C & S to be sent to lab.
• Perform IM injections. Assist with office procedures as directed by physicians including bladder scan, flow rate, bladder catheterization.
• Perform patient tasks as order by physician including scheduling diagnostic tests, obtaining outside records and scheduling appointments.
• Make sure exam rooms are clean, adequately stocked and ready for clinic visits. Assist with miscellaneous tasks.
