• As a TSA Third Party Certified Cargo Screening Explosive Detection Canine Handler, perform daily training with explosive detection canine in order to hone and improve efficiency in the search and clearing ULDs, skids, crates, vehicles and warehouse area
• Screen cargo being boarded onto passenger and freighter planes with partner K-9 in order to determine safety of cargo
• Maintain an up-to-date log on both physical and digital mediums on all screen cargo
• Individually clear cargo in accordance with TSA standards arriving from Certified Cargo Screening Facilities by confirming that all airway bills arrive with appropriate forms along with cargo arriving with approved labels
• Maintain personal proficiency on TSA approved screening methods, X-ray and Explosive Trace Detection devices, that help with clearing cargo in cases of k-9 alarm
• As a screening supervisor be able to contact TSA, CBP and local law enforcement in cases of obvious threat to locations
• Job Accomplishments
• I have successfully identified 2 weapons hidden in cargo. The first while clearing mail with an X-ray machine and the second while providing on the job training to a supervisor from an out of state airport. The second was identified with an X-ray machine and confirmed with a physical search
• I along with my K-9 partner have passed 5 company blind audits, 2 at JFK and 3 at EWR. In which a mock IED was hidden in cargo in order to determine my proficiency in understanding my partner change of behavior as well as my knowledge at following notification procedure to a possible thread.

• Received and inspected weekly shipment of high end watches that were sorted, scanned and received into the SAP computer system
• Inspected daily shipment of UPS, Fedex Ground and Fedex Express deliveries

• Conducted visual inspections of products that were ready to be shipped; In order to identify any damages that may deem the product defective
• Logged every product according to its identifying product code and transfer that data into the computer system for record
• Sent superiors and fellow team members in storage warehouse copies of the products that were shipped throughout the shift via email
• Relayed important information about priority products to truck drivers and forklift drivers in order to rapidly and effectively ship out products
• Loaded trucks and tractor-trailers with material handling equipment such as fork lifts
• Received, unloaded, and processed deliveries
• Informed individuals relieving me of my duties of any events that occurred during my shift; such as providing information about defective equipment, lack of equipment and products that are deemed priority shipment.

• Utilized barcode scanner to track incoming products and place them into outgoing pallets
• Operated heavy machinery in order to organize specific shipments such as electric hand jack and forklift

• As requested by supervisors planned the outdoor physical activities for lower enlisted in order to maintain the physical standards that the organization demanded
• Observed that lower enlisted soldiers maintains their military issued equipment to working capacity as requested by the organization
• Trained and helped train enlisted soldiers in the use of a variety of weapons
• Conducted reconnaissance and security within assigned area
• Trained in the use of a variety of military vehicles such as the Bradley fighting vehicle, ICV Stryker, Humvees and L-ATV.
