I keep my nose to the grindstone and make it a goal to preform above expectations. I work hard and don't get frustrated easily. I make an effort to stay ahead of the game and when i hit walls i ask for help. I can work with just about anyone as long as they are willing to work with me. I wont give up or quit when things get rough or out of control and i have a calm demeanor when the situation becomes frustrating or stressful.
I know the owner as a close friend and offered to work a month at his store to allow him to find long term employees. I ran the store and set up stands for new product while stocking and rearranging old or current product. I both opened and closed 3 days a week from 9am to 9pm. I ran a cash register and greeted customers all day solo, while maintaining the stores stock and cleaning.
Helped unload and stack stock coming in everyday and put on floor for night shift to stock into correct locations. Ran forklifts in customer filled locations and backstock. Ran handheld computers to keep track of inventory and make changes when necessary.
I left within 2 week due to an at home injury in my wrist and need for surgery.
I ran excavators, backhoes, gannons, tractor blades, dump trucks water trucks, and much more heavy machinery. I ran as a second behind a foreman on a crew of 12 men and ran point anytime the foreman was sick or not around. I laided fire and domestic water lines, sewer lines, manholes, and did grade with 10ths of an inch lasers. I tracked hours for myself and my 12 crew members and read plans for site maps. I was in charge of opening the yard in the mornings and preparing the sites for the crew each day.
I ran all day to day activities on a charter fishing boat. Baited lines for customers, fixed poles and reels, pulled in fish and marked tags for certain fish, kept up with game and fish regulations for customers, and more. Was required to maintain cleaning and maintenance on boat at all times and learned to drive in case of emergencies. I was coast guard certified to be a merchant marine.
