In addition to working in the role of Counselor in Training for Scout Summer Camp, I also participated in resume building, job interview skills, and various service projects throughout the camp.
Volunteer/Service/Extracurricular Activities
I have been a volunteer at church services for school-aged children for many years. I supervise small groups, organize activities and teach curriculum. I have also been a group leader for many years at Vacation Bible School in addition to supporting instructors in preschool and grade school gymnastics classes. Additionally, I have worked part time in my neighborhood doing yard work and general maintenance work.
I play clarinet and piano, recreational golf and basketball. I have a B+ average in school classes and have enrolled in a college class next semester at Cape Fear Community College.
Finally, I achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in August 2020 and am looking for opportunities to give back to younger scouts.
