Hi Performance Ford of Moab
Moab
7
years of professional experience

I was born and raised in Moab like the seven generations before me, I have no intention of ever leaving my home. Because of this I have gotten to know most of the people in this town and have so far had a great reputation with them.

I also have been very loyal to every job I have worked and really have enjoyed all of them, and I would still be working at Hi Performance Ford of Moab, if the the dealership was still open. I loved being a salesperson and I did it with pride, that line of worked really brought out the best in me because sales was a "sink or swim" type of career that forced me to learn everything I know now!

Even though I am disappointed that the dealership didn't work out I am excited to see if this opens up new doors in my life and that I can find another line of work that I can call a career.

I hope that this resume gives you a good idea of what im all about and lets you see the type of person, employee and co-worker I can be!

Work History

Sales Associate

5 Years 3 Months
Hi Performance Ford of Moab | 04.2021 - 07.2026
  • Worked as a sales representative for just shy of six years, the first three years the Moab Ford store was under the name Crump Reese Moab Ford, new ownership two and a half years ago renamed the store to Hi Performance Ford of Moab.
  • In this six year time span I have worked in the sales department for new and pre-owned vehicles. Where my primary role was to sell cars.
  • This sales job was something that I truly loved and would still proudly be doing if the business never went under, but the experience is something that will live with me forever.
  • At Hi Performance Ford of Moab, I was a licensed salesman giving me years of experience with handling other people and learning the qualities of human interaction and how to best deal with each individual on a day to day basis.
  • This job has also led me to be a professional in the automotive world learning about every difference there is in each individual car and how to apply that to a persons needs and wants.
  • I have also acquired a lot of knowledge in finances, which has helped in my personal life and has let me help other people accomplish their financial goals.
  • Being familiar with cars and working a lot with my service department I have gained experience with automotive technical problems as well, I can identify a lot of mechanical issues with cars and even have a little bit of experience with fixing cars ( I am no professional at it ).
  • Our store faced a lot of management issues in the last three years, with there being times that there was no management for weeks or months at a time. Because of this I was regularly called upon to help with certain management aspects like training new sales people, detailers and lot techs. I was called upon to help finance my own and other coworkers car deals, even was asked to help handle "rough" customers in the sales and service departments many times. Even though I never got the title of a manager I have gained management experience over others that were both younger and older than me, even training new sales people that were double my age.
  • A big part of this job included cold calls and emails. I have great customer experience with selling cars on the phone and through emails. I have sold a lot of cars without ever meeting people in person.
  • Through the years I have also acquired a large majority of 5 star Google and Facebook reviews from my past customers.
  • Being in sales and trying to boost myself I have also learned a lot about social media and even had several thousand followers using Facebook, TikTok and Instagram.
  • All these experiences has lead me to gain knowledge in the fields of human interactions, finances, automotive knowledge, management skills, customer problem solving and most importantly how to rely on myself to get jobs done, my line of work required me to sell cars from start to finish by myself many times.

Grocery Clerk

10 Months
Village Market Moab | 05.2020 - 03.2021
  • Worked at Village Market for just shy of year.
  • I did everything from stocking shelves, checking inventory, checkout and bagging, early morning cleanup crew and produce.
  • I don't have many complaints from working at Village Market, it was a good job for me when I was younger but it wasn't the type of business that I could grow in so I took the sales job when it was offered to me.

Clerk

8 Months
CARQUEST Moab | 05.2019 - 01.2020
  • Worked at CarQuest right after I graduated high school.
  • I gained experience right away doing inventory for the store at the time everything was hand written book sheets for all the parts that arrived every morning.
  • After inventory was done in the mornings I was working the parts counter helping customers with all of their automotive needs.
  • A lot of customers would call the phones needing help locating parts, giving me experience with customer interaction on the phone.
  • This job also required parts to be delivered to businesses all across town
  • This was a really good job for me fresh out of high school and taught me a lot about people and customer service at an early age.
