After covid started and the oil pipelines shut down I traveled the world for awhile.

Straw Boss

•I was in charge of horizontal directional drilling crews.

•Coordinating drilling operations, locating the beacon in the drilling head above ground to ensure we're on target.

•Delegating and teaching day to day labor operations and maintenance of heavy machinery.

•Handled any environmental issues and cleanup that arose from daily operations.

•Coordinating pipe pulls between heavy equipment operators to get product in the ground after the boring was completed.

•Road guardians communication for equipment haul out after rigging down, and when hauling equipment in to rig up.

• General laboring, worked on a 100x120 Vermeer, mostly on pipe side trailing rods, breaking rods off with wrenches, also oiling the rig and track hoe, helped with repairs to the rig, cleaned mud system, road block when necessary as well.

• Working on a 60x90 Vermeer, ran mud system, locate, and all around labor work from digging in the pit or trenches to checking the rig, greasing the rig, breaking off and putting on drill heads and reamers, coordinating pulling pipe, general maintenance and cleaning.

• General laboring, worked on a 36x50 Vermeer, ran mud system, greased rig and track hoe, broke off drill heads and reamers with wrenches, general maintenance and cleaning.

• Apply and remove valves from tank cars, pressurized air test applied valves and fill out reports for each tank car.
• Disassemble and reassemble valves, sandblast inside and outside of tank cars, vacuum and clean up blast material, operate forklift.

• Supervise painting, plumbing, wallpaper and carpet crews.
• Paint walls, ceilings, trim, and doors.
• Stain trim, doors, and cabinets.

• Led and participated in marine mortar squad and directed mortars to designated target coordinates in a timely manner.
• Led and participated in patrols and missions in a coordinated and disciplined manner.
