  • Precision measurement

Accomplishments

  • January 2011 to present Facilities Service Representative for Facilities and Operations department. Managing Facilities and Operations waste to include radioactive, hazardous, universal and recycle wastes.
  • April 2010 - Graduated University of Phoenix with Bachelor of Sciences Information Sciences/Security.
  • 2001-2010 - Treating, packaging, and transporting radioactive and hazardous waste to RCRA, DOT and Washington State hazardous waste regulations. Managing waste in a RCRA permitted facility. 30 years of hands on experience handling radioactive materials. Experienced in fume hood and glove box operations.
  • 2002-2010 Planned and implemented efficiencies in radioactive and hazardous waste management that allow processing doubled waste volumes with half of previous staff.
  • 2001 – Planned radiological controls for removal of 12,000 gallons of legacy waste and stabilization of remaining heal for tank in 323 building. This was accomplished on rigorous schedule and resulted in zero incidents.
  • 2000 – Planned radiological controls for demolition of 331-A building, which resulted in zero incidents.
  • 1996 – Provided radiological technical guidance and input for Waste Engineering Laboratory (324 Building). Facility went 10 months without personnel contamination, during this period multiple waste shipments were made from the B-cell and major airlock decontamination occurred.
  • 1994 – Developed new radiological survey maps for San Onofre Nuclear plants 1 and 2 using CAD software resulting in more detailed and accurate survey maps.
