- Ward has been recognized as one of two Signature Schools from WSFCS for the 23-24 school year for outstanding academic growth and overall climate and culture improvements.
- Increased overall student academic performance on standardized tests by over 10% in several content areas in one year.
- Currently serving as a member of the Wallace Foundation's Equity-Centered Pipeline Initiative (ECPI) which is a professional learning community for principals from across the country who are focused on equity-centered leadership.
