Licensed and conducted on-going support to child care providers in Rice County, MN Instructed new applicants on the rules and statutes for compliance and conducted initial visits to the home to ensure compliance prior to licensure. Once licensed, conducted annual inspections of the residence to ensure continued compliance. Conducted investigations regarding concerns from the public on homes and made necessary recommendations to the state on disciplinary actions. Worked closely with the county attorney's office on these investigations.

I also did supervised visits outside my normal work hours for the county child protection unit. This position involved transporting children from foster care homes to visits with their parent and monitoring the visit to ensure the safety of the children. A summary of each visit was submitted to the on-going case worker.
