Collin Filippini

I am an active adult volunteer in Scouts BSA. I volunteer to staff a leadership training course known as National Youth Leadership Training. This course is geared towards guiding and enabling scouts to become better leaders in their home units. I also volunteer for work projects, such as trail-work and clean-up.

I have been an active volunteer at my church for the past 5 years, working in a variety of different ministries. I am currently involved in the Youth and Kidz ministries, working with students from 1st to 12th grade. Our Youth Group has grown immensely during that time, and I am currently working closely with the middle schoolers, giving sermons and leading small groups.

While in high school, I was a member of the track team and band. I ran track for four years and was on the varsity team for three, for hurdles. I was involved in every aspect of the music program at my school. I play drums, and, on top of jazz ensemble and wind ensemble, I also played performed with choir, drama, symphony orchestra, and helped with the lower level bands.
