Started out on the weekend shift running the plasma tables. Was fortunate enough to be able to work my way up within a few months and got this opportunity. Started off as Main Campus plasma and press brake supervisor. I was able to turn the night shift around to where we were able to produce and run with days as far as production. Kept up with the numbers, team member counseling due to attendance or work performance. I was then able to come to where I'm currently at which is TAC. I've learned each of our machines here which are the laser, robots, cobot and press brakes. I work with Delmia every day inputting the operators logs of what they ran by part name. I edit Delmia to correct inventory, I work with planners/coordinators helping them receive or keep up with parts they ordered. I call our weekly huddles and also do the safety topics each week. I've done time studies on each of the machines helping come up with a way we can judge the team members work performance. I also keep track of each team members performance in spreadsheets for future data that can help achieve better performance numbers. I've also learned our shipping side so I'm able to create ICT's and keep track of what each shipment we send out has or what we receive. My top 2 Gallup strengths are achiever and adaptability which I use every day.

I started off on their paint line. We stacked couplings that went around the line on a belt. Had the opportunity to move to finisher which was the machine operator. Learned the CNC machine, how to calibrate and then read calipers, read thread height and mrp. Was offered Team Lead were I was over 15 team members. Made sure everyone always had their tools needed for the job. Made sure every station communicated on what orders and what pallets were needed for each of the machines. Was laid off due to COVID
