As an undergraduate student of Olemiss, I aspire to attend the Sally Barksdale Honors College program—with a major in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Music. I aim for at least a 3.5 GPA and to be involved with extracurricular activities in the college and outside. College activities would be: participating in the LOU symphony, playing for various music recitals, and working for an electrical engineering internship. Outside activities would be: keeping up with my Scout troop after getting my Eagle Scout rank (as an assistant Scoutmaster) and playing several music gigs for weddings, church services, and some ensembles. During these 4 years, I will also study audio engineering online, and experiment with music production, mixing, and mastering using different software. After college (completing my undergraduate degree) I aim to move to a large city to pursue my career in audio engineering and music production, which is my first career choice. I would like to work for various bands/music groups, gaining notability in the music scene and experimenting with different styles and processes. I also would like to work for a large movie corporation, such as Sony or Netflix, helping with the recording and mixing of large-scale musical tracks, including string chamber groups, brass bands, and even full orchestras. After I set myself up in the audio engineering scene, I will open my own studio and music label, and strive to innovate music for its exciting and promising future.
Played a prelude and ceremony music for a wedding at a Catholic Church. There was a short rehearsal beforehand, with two violinists, myself, an organist, a solo trumpeter, and two singers.
