As a 'counter' worker at Barros Pizza, I had to overcome all types of challenges. The counter workers had to take on all of the duties that the front of a restaurant demands, such as: bussing, cleaning, taking orders, running out food, making salads, or pizzas, etc. That being said, I am comfortable working under stress; and confident I can bring a happy and relaxing energy to the workplace, adhering to any customers' needs while having a good time with my co-workers. While working at this job, I learned the importance of good customer service, as most of my income was earned via gratuity.

Workplace tasks:

• Setting up the cooking stations and restocking needed items.
• preparing ingredients for salad bar (ex: pouring ranch cups, cutting tomatoes, onions ect...)
• Sweeping, mopping, and wiping down the store.
• taking customer orders with a smile :)
• Refunding mess-up pizzas, resolving customer complaints.
• Bringing customers their food.
• Taking phone calls.
• Opening and closing the store.
