
I have a variety of experiences with young children and am enthusiastic to continue to pursue my career in teaching Special Education (Prek-8). I have previous experience working with at-risk youths in an educational setting along with full-time substitute and paraprofessional experience. I have my bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Bridgewater State University. I earned my master's degree in Moderate Disabilities Pre-k-8 through American International College. I currently have my Professional license in Moderate Disabilities Pre-k-8. From 2013-2014, I worked as a paraprofessional within South Shore Educational Collaborative grades 4-6 and then transferred to working as a Special Education paraprofessional at Pembroke Community Middle School. I currently work as an inclusion special education teacher at Furnace Brook Middle School in Marshfield, MA. where I have been for the last six years. I have a variety of experience working in the inclusion setting as a special education teacher as well as the last two years teaching the 8th-grade language-based program. On top of teaching, I also currently work as an applied behavior analysis (ABA )and therapist for Southeastern ABA where I work closely with children and families with autism. I also have been coaching girls basketball at the high school level and AAU level for a total of 11 years. I currently coach at Whitman-Hanson Regional High School and AAU for Rise Above Basketball.
