  • Boo Bash/ Trunk or Treat, 2017, 2018, Worked in collaboration with other town departments to put on a safe trick or treating event for youth in the town of Bloomfield. This consisted of providing youth with a positive and safe environment while celebrating Halloween.
  • Summer Concert on the Green Series, 2019, Summer Concert on the Green Series is a yearly event sponsored by the town of Bloomfield. This event helps expand the community and police relationships. Participating in this event I was able to foster new relationships with community members and essential community personnel.
  • Young Men’s Group, 2017, 2018, Young Men’s Group is a mentoring group focused on supporting troubled youth in the town of Bloomfield. This work specifically involved working with young men in the community. The primary focus included developing life skills, maintaining positive relationships, promoting education and enhancing interpersonal skills.
  • Citizens Police Academy, 2017, 2018, Bloomfield Police department in conjunction with the town of Bloomfield puts on a citizen police academy every year. This program is used to give citizens an insight to law enforcement work as well as operations of the Bloomfield police department. This Program helps bring together the town and its police department.
  • Social and Youth Services Events, 2017, 2019, During the course of two years I have participated in a variety of events put on by the town's social and youth services department. These events were designed to bring the community particularly the youth and senior citizens together with their police department. This opportunity enhances positive networking between the community and local law enforcement.
  • Stuff a Cruiser, 2018, The Bloomfield Police Department and the town's local Community center work in collaboration to provide food to the residents who are less fortunate during the holiday season, receiving donations from members of the community and filling up a cruiser with these goods.
  • Blue Hills Fire Safety, 2018, 2019, Bloomfield Police Department worked in collaboration with Blue Hills Fire Department to educate the community about the importance of car seat safety. This event included demonstration of installing, performing car seat checks and educating the community about the importance of car seat safety.
  • Back to School Fair, 2019, Incorporated community organizing through donations of folders, notebooks and pencils for students residing in the town of Bloomfield. This event is sponsored by town in collaboration with other town departments to promote a positive back to school experience for the town’s youth.
