Developed and displayed a wide variety of critical skills ranging in mechanics, general construction, woodwork, high and low-voltage electrical work, minor programming, malfunction diagnosis/troubleshooting, and customer relations. Duties and accomplishments during this time include:

• Participated in installing and completing 120+ of our counterweight traction units including 5+ disassembly and removal of previous companies' products, 3 Bruno power chair porch lifts, and 1 dumbwaiter.
• Experience with a wide variety of EMI-Porta products including porta/Honeywell electromechanical interlocks, magnetic selectors, phone boards, operating panels, gate operators, digital position indicators, light curtains, photo eyes, power cells, and controller boards as well as Yaskawa and Mitsubishi drives.
• Received positive recognition for exceptional craftsmanship and have been specially requested by company supervisors, build site managers, and homeowners.
• Trusted within the company to accomplish various tasks with little to no supervision.

Served as part of the law enforcement section by leading a squad tasked with maintaining proper operational procedures granting access to the base. Ensuring the safety and security of all government property as well as any personnel assigned to, or within, my area of operation. Duties and accomplishments during this time include:

• Completion of the Fleet Assistance Program Academy for the Provost Marshal's Office consisting of Law enforcement qualification, M9 pistol/ M1014 shotgun training, escalation/de-escalation of force, defensive tactics with the use of batons and handcuffs, Blood-Bourne pathogens training, and First Aid/Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation/Automated External Defibrillator certification.
• Conducted, supervised, and recorded over 50 Random Anti-terrorism Measures ranging from 300+ personal vehicle searches to proper identification/ documentation checks.
• Conducted and supervised the search, driver verification, and record of over 1,500 commercial vehicles granted access to the installation.

Served in a leadership billet to several other members of the unit over a 7-month deployment to Helmand province, Afghanistan. Duties and accomplishments during this time include:

• Advised and assisted in the training and operation of members of a foreign military (Afghanistan National Army) in the fields of weapons handling, squad tactics, and even language learning classes.
• Participated in joint operations integrating host nation forces of a foreign military and conducted security patrols within the area of operations to interact with the local populous.
• Served as personal security detail, escort, and commander for the members of the advisor team.
• Lead and contributed to the education of a 4 to 6-man team during various training events in preparation for deployment.

Provided physical security to national strategic assets as well as overall welfare of personnel and property aboard the installation. Duties and accomplishments during this time include:

• Tactical response force coordinator and supervisor responsible for all equipment, property, and personnel within assigned area of operation.
• Received formal recognition for my exceptional performance of duties and leadership capabilities on base by my company as well as a 3-star general.
• Maintained accountability and serviceability of millions of dollars worth of government property and equipment, including the personal safety and security of 30-50 other members of the organization.
• Convoy security coordinator and strategic asset transportation escort.
• Tactical motor vehicle driver and operator for both High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) and Bearcat.
• Security systems control room operator and entry control point supervisor.
• Attended and completed a course on Combat Marksmanship Coaching, weapons handling and operation, and identifying/correcting shooter deficiencies.
