Corey Rosario

I went to solano community college for two years to get my general education done. While I went to school, I worked at Round Table and Jamba Juice to help pay for my education. I took a year off from school for figure out what I wanted to do with my life. I always enjoyed working with numbers but mainly the statistical part of it. Then I enrolled in Sacramento State to pursue a math degree with an emphasis in statistics. I also got a job at Fentons Creamery where I am still currently working. I had to work while going to school in order to pay for each semester. I started as a host for a few months then right before the busy times of the years, we lost two potential servers. That is when management decided to fast track me to be a server in order to help fill the loss. I excelled as a server and less than a year, I became a shift lead. After my service industry career, I was given and opportunity at Genentech. I mainly weighed and dispense the material into containers for manufacturing to process. I then got more into material management such as ordering and monitoring the material we use in our process. I also handle the scheduling for the kits being made for the week. Lonza bought out Genentech and I am able to be a part of a team that creates the new kits for new customers. I am also learning more of the leadership role and I am building connections within the company.

I enjoy physical activities such as tennis, basketball, running, going to the gym, and pickleball.
