Currently on a leave of absence (LOA) from the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at St. Catherine University. Current employment as a Personal Trainer and Stretch Specialist at Life Time Fitness, seeking a full-time position in a rehabilitation setting. Experience as a Physical Therapy Technician in the outpatient setting at Twin Cities Orthopedics. Achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Science (2023), as well as a Master of Science degree in Strength and Conditioning (2024). Exploring a plethora of career opportunities during my LOA within the medical, health/wellness, and sports performance fields to assess where my expertise and education best fit and the setting that I believe I will make the largest impact in. I am an extremely driven, passionate, and hard-working person with the ability to think quickly on my feet, problem solve, and have adopted excellent communication and time management skills through prior work, school, and extracurricular experiences. I believe strongly in preventative care, building professional relationships, as well as the concept of exercise is medicine.

Summer 2021: 40 observation hours
• Summit Orthopedics -Vadnais Heights & Woodbury, MN. Student Shadowing Experience: Completed 20 hours of shadowing 2 different Physical Therapists. Here I saw a variety of patients and had the opportunity to learn from practicing Physical Therapists as well as engage with patients.
• MN Health Fairview -Hugo, MN. Student Shadowing Experience: I completed 20 hours of shadowing a practicing Physical Therapist at the MN Health Fairview clinic in Hugo, MN. Here I saw a primarily older population of patients and was exposed to the treatment of more chronic conditions.
Fall 2021: 50 observation/volunteer hours
• TRIA Orthopedics -Woodbury, MN. Student Volunteer: 10 week program consisting of working alongside Rehab Aides and assisting them in their duties as well as shadowing a variety of different Physical and Occupational Therapists. Completed 50 hours of shadowing experience through volunteering and was exposed to a diverse population of patients, therapists, and modalities/treatments.
Summer 2022: 120 observation/volunteer hours
• Summit Orthopedics -Vadnais Heights, MN. Completed 80 hours at Summit Orthopedics in Vadnais Heights, MN mainly observing Dr. Rachel Hedden, DPT. These 80 hours contributed heavily to my Practicum in Rehabilitation Science through UWEC. I gained a lot of hands on experience, significantly improved my patient-provider interaction skills, as well as adopted a ton of new techniques and treatment modalities from observing Rachel and the other therapists at this location.
• MN Health Fairview Pediatric Specialty Clinic (Pediatric PT) -Woodbury, MN. Completed 20 volunteer hours and had the opportunity to observe physical and occupational therapists working with a diverse population of children in a rehab setting.
• Twin Cities Orthopedics -Vadnais Heights, MN. Completed 20 observation hours at TCO in
Vadnais Heights, MN. I mainly observed Dr. Carli Wacker, DPT, and had the opportunity to spend one on one time with her discussing a variety rehab, sports-related, and healthcare topics.
