I currently work overnight weekends at Madonna rehab hospital as the night operator. I efficiently work alone in office answering the phones for patients, nursing staff, or outside callers. On down time, I run multiple reports including tray tickets, charge cards for the following day, and print jobs. I also check on the servers that run both campuses, and monitor the fire/pharmacy alarms.

• I currently process federal student loan applications according FSA guidelines. I apply plans based on the type of loan, income, and family size of the borrower, while updating demographic information. I hit monthly goals with quality and effectiveness in numerous tasks, while being cross-trained in multiple departments. I also help correct peer errors as my team leads needs.

• I worked on 4th floor at Children's hospital which is a 24-bed unit that cares for all ages but focuses on infant and toddlers. I obtained vitals signs within the appropriate time frames, occasionally bathe patients, as well perform other ADLs. 1:1 patient care was necessary at times as well for mental health DX. I also worked side by side with the RNs to assure patient comfort and getting them back to baseline to return home. During downtime I would stock the floor with isolation supplies and medical supplies.

• I worked as a medication aide/CNA in the morning hours. This included administering residents correct medication, amount and at the correct time. I would also assist in ADLs including dressing, toileting and transferring to meals/activities. Once a month I would receive the next months medications for all the residents on my floor. I would cross check records and make sure the correct medications came in the shipment.

• My duties included checking in emergency room patients. I would obtain consent to treat then collect their photo ID's and insurance cards. After the patient would see the physician, I updated their demographic information and collected COA signatures. While I was working the overnight shift, I took over bed control for both hospitals. This included taking phone calls from floor nurses to update accounts or active patients. I also worked with physicians assisting them in finding beds for outside transfers.

• My duties with Eye Care Specialties included greeting patients for appointments, checking them in and collecting insurance cards and photo ID's. I also would update doctor schedules and make sure all information was correct. When the patient is done seeing the doctor I checked the patient out, collected copays and overages then filed their insurance claims. At the end of the day I balance the money and send off amounts to the bank.
