My name is Crista Diaz. I am currently a full-time student at the University of North Texas. I am bilingual, I am fluent in Spanish and English. I was a stay at home mom for 5 years and have plenty of experience in childcare and education. While I was caring for my child at home, I have been a student and have obtained an Asscociate's Degree from Collin College and transferred to UNT in the Fall of 2023. I have been accepted as a teacher candidate for their Teacher Education program and I will continue Block A in the upcoming Spring. Most of my work experience has been in retail and sales, but I also have experience doing managerial duties such as opening and closing, filling out and filing paperwork, and supervising employees. I have more than 10 years in experience with childcare. I have 48 hours of observation in different educational facilities. I completed 16 hours at Child's Path facility in Frisco which is the most reccomended austism care provider in Collin County. I have also completed another 16 hours at the Goddard School in Allen, Texas. In the spring of 2023, I completed 16 hours of observation for Princeton ISD at Harper Elementary school for Ms. Virginia Foote. I am currently employed for the Goddard School in Princeton, Texas as a Lead Teacher full-time. I am looking to further my career and gain new experiences. In summary, I would describe myself as an outgoing, friendly person. I am a hardworker and very dependable. I love to give my very best in anything that I do.
