Determine the need for a physician's review of prescription refills.
Fill out lab slips, and send lab orders electronically for OB/GYN patients.
Acquire all results prior to, and during, the patient visit.
Maintain records and documents in the patient's record.
Complete disability forms for OB patients
Maintain timely patient flow, and room availability.
Clean and maintain exam rooms.
Order medical supplies, and stock the rooms.
Properly clean and disinfect instruments and equipment routinely.
Perform all tasks in a safe manner, in compliance with organizational safety policies, and according to applicable regulations; maintain a neat workstation and environment.
Participate in the patient checkout process: facilitating follow-up tests, referrals, and may participate in obtaining prior authorizations.
Obtains patient information, obtains consent (demographics, insurance, and third-party payers).
Schedules inpatient and outpatient admissions and procedures.
Receives and posts patient payments.
Manage providers, professionals, and schedule.
Perform basic diagnostic and procedural coding.
