• Case Handler of major antitrust complaints and investigations in the Financial Sector (i.e raised RCA tariffs by UNSAR and 9 of its members, ROBOR potential antitrust agreement); member of several sector inquiries and antitrust investigations
• Leading end to end management of investigations: team management and assignments, deadline tracking, complex inventory of procedural acts, compliance reviews for commercial secrecy, data privacy, shared access and stakeholders' reporting
• Organizing and conducting national inspections at companies premises and trading associations headquarters as leader or as a member of the inspection team
• M&A assessments, offering the approval and guidance according to local and European standards
• Cooperation with relevant authorities in the Financial Sector, as well as with the legislative bodies in the area; representing the Competition Council in front of public authorities
• Compliance review of primary and secondary legislation with European standards and competition policy
• Assessing complex compliance programs of companies in the insurance sector and banking related industries
• Assessing companies' proposed commitments in mergers and investigations, as well as monitoring and auditing compliance for periods of 2-3 years over
• Compliance review of the sanctions proposed by different teams with national and European standards
• Advising the Legal Department on litigations matters related to the investigations handled and co-preparing the defense case
• Active advisory role in mixed working groups (the Competition Council together with market regulators or ministries) and internal working groups for drafting/implementing legislation or antitrust policies in a compliant manner
• Active participant in the European Competition Network Working Sub-Groups on Financial Services and Banking & Payments Systems (exchange of competition issues in the financial sector between member states and EU-DG Competition, developing best practices and share experiences)
• Analysis of complaints regarding potential anticompetitive practices
• Identifying the antitrust behavior in the private sector

State Aid Reporting and Monitoring Directorate

• Centralizing and verifying the information transmitted by the state aid grantors
• Drawing up internal monitoring reports and the reports requested by the European Commission
• Offering state aid advice for the grantors

• Basic accounting, financial statements and other statements required by the state institutions, solving different personnel problems, bank accounts situations, the relation with the suppliers (payments and bills)
