Work History

Instructional Coach

Bradley Academy
06.2024 - Current
  • Lead teachers in best instructional practices through PLCs and feedback from informal instructional walks.
  • Gain teacher feedback and voice through yearly surveys that provide me with direct feedback on my next steps with instructional support.
  • Track data through module assessments, CFA, and benchmarks to make an actionable instructional plan for teachers.
  • Complete coaching cycles with teachers, where we work as a team to strengthen an identified area of growth.
  • Working with teacher leads to building teacher leaders within the building who can help support teacher growth through sharing knowledge in PLCs and being model classrooms.
  • Part of the 2024 and 2025 school year Model of Excellence board, where I have worked with other stakeholders in the district to set a standard of what high-quality work is. Then, taking that and bringing it back to Bradley and implementing it in our Model of Excellence committee at Bradley. Thus, strengthen teachers' knowledge and expectations around high-quality work.

  • Part of the 2022-2024 school year HQIM district team, where I was one of the stakeholders who was able to give feedback on where we are, what the ideal state would be, and the next steps.
  • I was selected to review TCAP items during the summer of 2022 and gained a deeper understanding of TCAP question expectations.
  • Using TCAP-released items in reading as CFA to track students' mastery with a complex text, and using that to make instructional shifts. Also, I was able to complete this work with my team and lead this work in PLC.
  • Leading data meetings with the 3rd-grade team to discuss trends and make changes to reading instruction based on data (things to keep doing, and things to add or modify).
  • Using data to structure lessons and activities in my classroom.
