Housing assistance program

• Provide compassionate confidential counseling and support services to women who are facing crisis pregnancy in a friendly and non-judgmental environment where clients can freely discuss their fears and concerns
• Education about pregnancy, abstinence, and sexual integrity
• Provide crisis intervention
• Provide abortion education, parenting, adoption and foster care
• Post abortion counseling services
• Provide education, medical, social services, and housing referrals, as well as on going material assistance and community referrals
• Complete counseling narratives and maintain clients records
• Continued participation In-Service training, Volunteer Staff Meetings as well as pregnancy center referral system database
• Spiritual support provided includes the sharing the gospel

• Answer incoming calls; determine purpose of callers and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department
• Retrieves and forwards messages from voicemail to the appropriate personnel
• Answer questions about the organization and provide callers with necessary information
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite, data entry skills create and develop spreadsheets using Excel
• Performs projects for various departments

• Conduct and completes interviews to determine financial eligibility for initial and continued Public
• Assistance Benefits, Medicaid and NJ Family Care
• Administer the monthly Supplemental Work Support stipend issued to TANF clients making the transition from welfare to work
• Knowledge of funding and referral process
• Responsible for Inter agency referrals for service assistance, Shelters, childcare, emergency assistance to prevent evictions
• Often served as a liaison between client and other agencies
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively through email, phone and written correspondence
• Heavy telephone usage
• Ability to organize and interpret data
• Maintain a client caseload of 250 or more
