  • Meet with the offenders before court and go over the Final Disposition paperwork with them to make sure they understand what information is on the paperwork for the sentence they pleading to in front of the judge; as well as, explaining the Conditions of Probation to the offenders to make sure they understand the requirements of Probation
  • After court is finished check all paperwork and make sure attorney's, District Attorney's and the judge have signed the Final Disposition
  • Calculate the fines and fees the offender has received from the judge and the Department of Community Supervision, then give paperwork to the clerk's office to be filed in and take a copy back to the Griffin Community Supervision Office to be processed
  • Pick-up community service paperwork from the community service sites and credit the offenders hours in Scribe
  • Check each offender that is required to do community service, to make sure they are in compliance with their community service work by completing 32 hours every 60 days, and relaying information to the Community Supervision Officer in regards to whether the offender is in compliance or out of compliance
  • Check Scribe to make sure there are no offenders that have not been accepted into the office, or another officer, from a Transfer-in or Transfer-out to another county or Spalding County
  • Review all New Intake files to verify all information from court is entered into the computer
  • Update the offenders address, phone number, employment and any contact information they may have
  • Keep an accurate list of all cases that have been Transferred to another county to make sure the offender is paying their required monthly payments as directed
