- As an Independent Contractor I provided third-party transportation services to the MTA ACCESS A RIDE program as a subcontractor of the Broker for the MTA. Duties included transporting commuters to and from various destinations (Shopping trips, gatherings, health treatments, entertainment venues, etc.) Accurately documenting my trip sheet via the Brokers App, collecting fares, ensuring my vehicles permits and other required documentation was in compliance with NYC-TLC requirements (Permits, Licenses and Appropriate insurance coverage) and ensuring my vehicles safety (inspections quarterly for the state and annually for the city, maintenance and upkeep of vehicle).
